Flight At Willow Manor

[Heard over the speakers]

Welcome aboard the newly repainted corporate jet of Simpson/Lynch Studios! You'll be flying in a state-of-the-art Boeing 777-232ER aircraft (or T7 as it's affectionately known) with twin Rolls-Royce engines. You'll undoubtedly notice how powerful these engines are as we basically "rocket" off the runway at Willow Manor.

The cabin has been completely customized, with spacious chairs, a fully-stocked bar, a pool table, WiFi access, movie theatre, six master bedroom suites, hot tub, and sauna.

I (The Skipster) will be the pilot-in-command on this short hop, and my partner David (The Silver Fox) will be riding "shotgun" because he called it! This is rather unusual, because he normally doesn't fly up front. Maybe he's taking an interest in flying, which is only only fair, because he does own half the plane.. which is why half of it has been freshly painted black.

Enjoy the flight!

  1. Thank you for the smooth flight. It was a blast. if you would like to stop by Linda # 53 for a martini, some great food or dancing, you are more than welcome. The location is just at the northern end of the manor. =D

  2. "Ladies and gentleman?" What, we only let one guy on board?

Actually, now that I think of it....

Good idea, Skipster! Sorry I said anything!

  3. Hm.... I'd hate to have to go straight home after leaving the ball, so I'll be more than happy to take you up on your offer!

  4. Skip, thanks for a lovely ride, what a marvellous view of the Manor from above the clouds.
Do call in later today if you'd like a "hair of the dog"..oops, shouldn't have said that, were you the pilot?

  5. So that's YOUR jet out on the front lawn of the manor! If things get slow inside, I may pop in for a movie...or soak in the hot tub!

  6. Do you realize how difficult it is to fly a "heavy" airliner, when six women come into the flight deck at once and want to sit on your lap, to see the "pretty clouds" from our viewpoint???

  7. Skip: If that distresses you so much, wipe off that grin.

Betsy: If those are your two choices... Let me warn you, the movie stinks tonight. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

  8. Oh, so sorry I missed your flight! Please let me know if another one gets planned.

  9. So, is the party moving into your plane now that the Manor is getting kinda crowded? That ight be fun!

BTW, I forgot to include a shot of my Auburn Boat-tail when I posted my party post. I've since fixed that.

  10. KathyG: You haven't missed a thing, as the Silver Fox and I are "masters of time and space."
Roy: We don't want to take ANYONE away from Willow's party. Shoot! Willow's even onboard, serving Filet Mignon and Maine Lobster to our guests!

  11. Roy, "moving" the party is okay with me, if it's okay with Skip. The plane is half mine, as he's finally acknowledged publicly! We not only gave it a new paint job, we've also changed the name from "Skipster One" to "SnL One."

  12. So, to clarify: The Willow Manor Ball is far from done, but all guests are welcome aboard the plane.... except "Cammie."

  13. Cammie is going to face charges and a serious lawsuit. Look at it this way... it'll pay off the plane, and then it will be ours! OURS!!! Bwahaha!!! Do you know how many pretty ladies will be lining up for a weekend hop to London, Paris, Sydney??? All within the range of a T7 my friend. Too bad you don't have your pilot's license...

  14. Thanks to BOTH of you who own this fine aircraft for the lovely ride! It was to fun to see the manor from there, but please make sure to tell if your going to try and let Tom fly again because if you are I think I'll just stay on the ground!

  15. She probably won't do any jail time, though. Celebrities get off with a slap on the wrist most of the time. But I'll settle for the money.

And as far as my not having a pilot's license, you're right... but there are some considerations to being able to roam about onboard while someone else flies the plane.

Which reminds me, time to head to the ol' hot tub.

    Talk to y'all later...

  16. Kayla: Tom isn't allowed on the plane either. In fact, elsewhere, Skip and I were credited with bringing him here, but please don't blame us for letting him crash the party!

  17. haha...what a great trip...thanks for keeping it level with all those looking for the view...i was waiting to see tom cruise's barrel roll...lol.

  18. I'm glad you're all enjoying the flight. There seems to be an empty seat on the flight deck, so if any pretty lady wants to take it, I'll show you a view from above the clouds, you've never seen...
Brian: No reckless flying from me. ;)
